Dr. Francis Emeka Ihejirika,
Doctor of Internal Medicine
Ihejirika, a doctor of internal medicine and pediatrics as well as a professor, resides in Bloomington, Illinois. Having grown up on the South Side of Chicago in Scouts, Francis and his brother spent many days working to find ways to help other people – one of the cornerstones of Scouting. Today, Ihejirika not only runs a program to assist medical students and doctors prepare for the licensure exams, he also goes to Africa to provide free health care to children.
Dr. Ihejirika's professional integrity and reputation is beyond question; his embodiment of the Scout Law serves as an inspiration to future generations of Scouts.
